Well - the Lord has seen fit to prompt three families to join my group. I really am excited. I have one more invitation that I have extended that I am hoping will they also will want to participate. It's April 1st and we are getting together for the 'kick-off' meeting on 4/18. I am not sure if I will be able to have my first meeting prior to 4/18 - but I will try.
I have been reading the Contagious Christian. The author re-iterates that God sees tremendous in value in every person - even people we think might not be so great. I need to do a better job of not judging or assuming I can know someones heart or worth - everyone is incredibly precious in Gods eyes.

I praise God with you and I am sure He has given you just those people that God knew you and your group needed.
That's great, Dave. Once you are up and running I am sure our providential God will make it clear why He put together your particular team.
Our group is now also not meeting until the large group gathering on April 18th. We all know that trying to coordinate four or five families' schedules is a lot like trying to nail jello to the wall. :o)
